HIDS is being designed to act as a living lab, with the intention of becoming an international model of smart and sustainable district. To do so, it will be necessary to explore mixed land use and adopt as a reference the best global practices of cities that planned their urban spaces based on sustainable principles. Still, with respect to the activities that can be developed at HIDS, it is understood that each actor and institution participating in this initiative can act in a manner consistent with their own mission and vision of the future, but always with the prerogative of meeting the principles of sustainable development.
It is envisaged that all activities and urban development of HIDS should have as a backdrop the preservation and conservation of the environment.
